The Book Fair begins Tuesday and our class will be stopping by to check it out on Tuesday at 11:40.
Global Play Day is on Wednesday. You should have seen information come home about this in the Dryden newsletters the past couple of weeks. Students are encouraged to bring a toy or game (NO ELECTRONICS!!) to play freely with for the last hour of the day on Wednesday.
The Middle School World Language Information Night will be Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 at the Dunton Administration Building.
Thursday night is the Family Book Fair and Family Reading Night from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Please come on by for story time and to browse the Book Fair!
As part of the district's assessment calendar, all 5th grade students will be taking the CogAT assessment next week. Dryden students will be taking the CogAT Tuesday, February 7, Wednesday February 8, and Thursday, February 9. If you can try to schedule student appointments around these days, that would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to Valentine's Day, please be aware that students are not allowed to pass out any food items with their valentines. Non-food items, such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. are acceptable, but no food is allowed. Thank you so much for your attention to this. I will have class lists for the students should they choose to pass out valentines.
In science we have been studying Earth in Space. The students have made some pretty great models of Daytime/Nighttime. Here are some pics of them working, but you can also check out their videos on Edmodo!
